The context

Aigues-Mortes is a fortified medieval town, discovered by walking from tower to gate along its ramparts. Its tourist office wanted to offer families a playful way to discover the town. The team contacted us after reading, on our website, the story of our project for Le Labo Cambrai.

The brief

A single game trail to help families discover the town, offered from the tourist office.

Our adaptation

We took the LudoVisio™ Play base, already proven at Le Labo Cambrai, and dressed it entirely in the town’s colours.

  • A storyline: the curse of Gaspard le Bourguignon, a medieval character whose trail the players follow.
  • A discovery trail between the town’s towers and gates, with riddles, rebuses and observation games.
  • A dedicated visual world: the Gaspard mascot, parchment backgrounds, stage banners.
  • A dedicated domain name, jeux-aigues-mortes.fr, registered for the game instead of a ludovisio.fr address.
  • All the content entered by us.

Key features

  • Score that grows at each stage
  • Riddles, rebuses and observation games
  • Mascot and visual world specific to the town
  • The game’s own domain name
  • Simple back office to manage content
  • Usage and completion statistics
  • Connected app: content is loaded during play

Results

The game is sold to visitors at the tourist office, with an entry fee: these sales paid back the app in about two years.

It is aimed especially at families, who discover the town while playing.
